AIDAL PLUS INDICATOR STRIPS: Whiteley Medical recommends the use of Aidal Plus Test Strips to monitor the concentration of glutaraldehyde. During re-use it is logical that rinse water introduced into Aidal Plus will cause the concentration of glutaraldehyde to fall, therefore it is advisable to test the concentration at a minimum of each day or as recommended by your Gastroenterological Association. If the concentration of Aidal Plus falls below the MEC of 1.5% the Aidal Plus Test Strips strips will give a negative reading. If there is any doubt over the result another test strip should be used to verify the result. If there is any remaining doubt over re-use of Aidal Plus the solution should be discarded immediately. *This product image is only for reference.
