Komprex foam rubber shapes are made of a dense, closed-cell foam that, when combined with other compression products, provides increased local pressure that aids in softening fibrosis and thickened skin. Komprex Foam Rubber Pads, Bandages and Sheets, and Foam Sheets retain their elasticity. They are used for compression in oedema treatment in phlebology and lymphology, and as a functional bandage in sports medicine. The products are sold in a range of sizes in ready-for-use formats. The fine-pored material has a velvety surface and can be easily cut to size.
