DescriptionWhen the McLaren F1 road car was officially launched in Monaco in May 1992 at the Sporting Club, prospective owners were invited and enticed with a softback brochure.Whilst we have handled a softback example before, this superior hardback publication was produced at considerable expense using the finest bookbindings and only provided to serious vetted potential buyers – these would have included Rowan Atkinson, the Sultan of Brunei, Ralph Lauren etc. As such there were only believed to be c100 examples produced.McLaren’s Prototype XP1 features in the publication.
