Safehip AirX Black Unisex is a medical-grade hip protector with a protector shield made with AirX spacer fabric technology, which is a skin-friendly, breathable textile material. Designed to reduce the incidence of hip fractures by providing optimum hip protection. Protects the wearer from hip knocks if they slip or fall. Key Features: Washable at a maximum of 60°C/140°F and tumble dried. Safehip is an economical and comfortable hip protection solution. Significantly reduce the incidence of hip fractures, sewn-in shields for optimal protection. Suitable for hospitals, nursing homes, or at home, it complies with disinfection control requirements. Product Care: Safehip can generally be washed up to a maximum of 60° / 140° F. Washing at a higher temperature will deform and/or shrink the shields and pants, and if it happens, use must be discontinued. Dye coloured Safehip products should preferably be washed at 40° / 104° F to avoid the colour from fading. The lifetime of your Safehip product will be increased if it is washed in a laundry net bag. DO NOT use bleach, as this will damage your Safehip product over time. If soiled by urine, immediately soak or wash, as uric acid is caustic. Safehip can be tumble-dried at a low temperature. Regarding industrial laundering, Safehip should never be subjected to excessive pressure during the washing or drying process, as pressure combined with heat may deform the shields. *This product image is only for reference.
