Curafix i.v. Control (6 x 7.5 cm): Cannula retention dressing with viewing window Curafix i.v. Control consists of a nonwoven/film laminate. The transparent viewing window makes it possible to observe and monitor the puncture site without having to change the dressing. In particular, cannulas with injection ports can be safely affixed thanks to the die-cut opening and overlapping dressing wings. Furthermore, Curafix i.v. Control leaves little residue when removed and is skin-friendly. Product composition: Nonwoven: White, Polyester. Film: Polyurethane, skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive (free of colophony and colophony derivatives). Intended purpose: For retention of cannulas and catheters on the skin and as a mechanical barrier to protect the puncture site. Properties: Breathable film. Secure retention. Impermeable to water. Latex-free formulation. Transparent viewing window. Pathogen- and bacteria-proof. Good water vapour permeability. Can be washed off with disinfectants. Supplied with an additional sterile pad. Dressing leaves little residue when removed. Benefits: Skin-friendly. Suitable for showering. Pathogen- and bacteria-proof. Longer dressing change intervals. The ability to monitor the puncture site means. Sterile cushioning pad: for padding under the cannula. Central slit: the dressing wings overlap for secure retention of the cannula. Transparent viewing window: to observe and monitor the puncture site without having to change the dressing. Application: Step 1: Put the enclosed cushioning pad under the cannula for padding. Step 2: Peel the large cover paper off the back of the dressing. Step 3: Position the round cutout around the injection port and the viewing window over the puncture site. Step 4: Remove the small cover papers from the wings and press them down so they overlap. Step 5: Smooth the adhesive dressing flat and press down.
