Isotonic: Sodium 50 mmol/L, Chloride 50 mmol/L, Glucose 185 mmol/L Baxter Sodium Chloride 1000ml Indications: Sodium Chloride and Glucose Intravenous Infusion is indicated for replenishing fluid losses, as an energy source and for restoration or maintenance of sodium and chloride ion concentrations. It may be used as a vehicle of drug delivery where intravenous delivery is appropriate and the drug is compatible with this solution. Baxter Sodium Chloride 1000ml Contraindications: The Sodium Chloride and Glucose Intravenous Infusion preparations are contra-indicated in patients with congestive heart failure or severe impairment of renal function, and in clinical states in which there exists oedema with sodium retention.
